We had no idea what bringing a baby home would be like! The first night it took 3 of us to change a diaper. That maconium stuff is serious business!!!
The first week with Noah was a blur. We remember lots of feedings, diaper changes, and sleepless nights, but that's about it. Amanda's mom stayed around for the first few days and that was a great blessing.
Despite the lack of sleep, exhaustive days, and hardly time for a shower... it's worth it. Holding Noah, kissing his head, feeling his grip around our fingers... it's worth it. Noah is an incredible addition to our family, and we can't imagine life without him.
